Dr. Raheesh Ravindran

Dr. Raheesh Ravindran is Consultant Rheumatologist with more than 12 years of experience as a Superspecialist. He did his training in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from the prestigious C.M.C Vellore Medical College. He then worked as an Assistant Professor in Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, C.M.C, Vellore. He also has training in advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound, from Center for Rheumatology, Berlin, Germany. He was also awarded International Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, USA. He has vast experience in treating all types of adult autoimmune rheumatic diseases. He has many International publications in reputed Journals and his work has been presented at various international forums. He is a Member of the Takayasu study group in collaboration with the NHS (U.K) and also a member (core group) of – “ARTHRITIS SUPPORT FOUNDATION” (Mumbai) an NGO working for patient support groups. He is honorary faculty at ICMR-NIRRCH(MUMBAI)

  • He has been working actively as Honorary Medical Director; Thane Citizens Foundation an NGO working towards the Socially and Economically Challenged sections of the society.
  • He has been felicitated by various forums like the Lions club; Rotary club; Thane Citizens Foundation on various occasions for his Humanitarian work.
  • He has received the Good Samaritan Award at the hands of Shri Parambir Singh the then Commissioner of Police of Thane.
  • He has been awarded The Thane Citizens Pride at the Hands of the Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Governor of Maharashtra along with top official dignitaries from Thane.
  • He has Conducted Various Medical Camps for the Thane Police along with THANE CITIZENS FOUNDATION NGO.
  • He has been featured in various leading Newspapers mentioning his contribution towards the rehabilitation of the homeless destitute’s.
  • He was selected as one of the TOP Rheumatologist in India by a survey conducted by the INDIA TODAY GROUP in 2019.
